Lesson 1 explores the GridWarp and SplineWarp nodes in Nuke. We then use the GridWarp in conjunction with the Tracker node to complete a project where an alien tentacle retracts into an infected host human. Watch the videos and decide if you want to get the project files so you can do the practice exercise.
The project file is a simple Nuke template and the footage needed to follow along on the assignment.
Did you know you can get a non-commercial version of Nuke absolutely FREE! Stop monkeying around with weaker software and start learning how the pros get composites done... In floating point, with node based interfaces. It's no harder to learn than any other program and it will pay HUGE dividends in your productivity level and the quality of shots you will be able to create. I would argue it's actually easier to learn Nuke than it is to learn many other programs as the paradigm and interface is much more internally consistent than most programs.
